re-entry

OK. I'm ready to go back. Hawaii is just.....so....perfect. The best part, though, is that we made it our own. We explored off the beaten path, breaking just about every rental car rule there is, going far from the well-traveled track. We rambled and rambled about. It's illegal run around nude in Hawaii. But just like anywhere, people tend to congregate in herds, leaving lots of territory for the rest of us. There are a couple of unofficial nude beaches on the Big Island, but violators can be ticketed if the area is being patrolled. We found ways around this silly little rule. Seriously -- the air is like butter! The water is gloriously perfect. Clothes in paradise? Nooooooooo! Make it stop! What is wrong with this crazy planet? Needless to say, it was a perfect vacation, a perfect escape, and completely brilliant and fucktastic in every way. So now it's back to reality and I'm dropping coins into the getaway jar and hoping to bust loose back to paradise sometime soon.

Welcome back, Gina. It is so cool that you found a bit of paradise in Hawaii, but it occurs to me, that you seem to take paradise with you wherever you go.

I love that observation, Craig! It's really just one big old crazy playground out there. What an amazing planet!

There are about 1,000 Hawaiian islands. 80% of the population lives on Oahu. So...there's the math. 999 islands are essentially uninhabited. In Oregon, about 90% of the land is owned by the Federal government. The Feds have no nudity laws. Fair game!! Lots of places to have lots of fun, it you're willing to step off the road well-traveled. I've never had a better vacation! I've never had a better 17 months! I've never had a better relationship! I've never known anyone like you! Fill up that trip jar! We're goin' places!!
